A public/ private partnership program to modernize facilities and enhance community services, PACT is a complex but critical investment toward public housing improvements across New York City.
As NYCHA sites Wilson Houses, Gaylord White Houses, and Metro North Plaza navigate the PACT program, Grain is advocating to ensure resident needs are met throughout the process. From evaluating PACT development teams to supporting resident priorities and establishing long-term community stewardship, the partnership with resident leadership is a high-impact tool to create resilient and sustainable futures across NYCHA. During this process, resident leadership teams can elect an experienced consultant to advise them on the various procedures taking place during development conversion. With Grain’s deep experience at NYCHA sites, the team has been able to provide expertise and advocacy throughout the complex process.
