The overall vision for the new playground will be to create a safe play environment that incorporates new play equipment and safety surfacing at the same time seeks to create a unique them and aesthetic that will inspired by works of Maurice Sendak. The space will provide an opportunity for kid to learn and experience the ‘world’ created in books of Maurice Sendak. Playground design will assist with physical, emotional as well as social development of children.
We have proposed three possible options for play equipment/s.
Options 1: Three small size early childhood play equipment as per SCA standard specifications.
Option 2: One large early childhood play equipment as per SCA standard specifications.
Option 3: Loose play equipment provided either by ‘imagination’ or ‘snug play’. These are currently not included in standard SCA specifications, but they have been used in recent past by SCA for their other playground projects.
